OUR DAY
THE LOCATION
The Villa St. Charles Hall was built in 1921 directly on Lake Lucerne. Designed in a neo-baroque style, ornate tapestries and valuable paintings adorn the walls of the villa, while antique sculptures decorate the park area.
Arrival
There are plenty of parking spaces available. If you are traveling by train, you can reach the villa in about five minutes on foot from the Meggen train station.
HOTELS
You don’t feel like driving home late at night?
The Villa St. Charles Hall is only ten minutes away from Lucerne, where there are numerous hotels ranging from small to large budgets.
To make your search easier, we have put together a small list of hotels for you. All of them, except for the Bürgenstock Hotel, are within a 15-minute drive of the villa.

DRESSCODE – COCKTAIL «BLACK»
Our motto is Black and White, so we have opted for an elegant dress code in black.
For Gentlemen:
- The gentlemen wear a black suit with a white or black shirt combined with elegant dark shoes.
- Tie/bow tie, a black suit vest and/or a white/black pocket square are optional.
For Ladies:
- The ladies choose a black, knee-length or long dress and round off their look with elegant accessories and dark shoes.
Presents
We already have all the material things we need. However, we would be very happy to receive a contribution towards our honeymoon.

OUR COAT OF ARMS

Sol
The sun is like love – constant, illuminating and always there to warm us, even on the darkest days. Additionally, this symbol is from one of our favorite series 😉
Hydra
The Water Snake (Latin / technical term: Hydra) is a constellation located south of the celestial equator. Its astronomical name is Hydra.
The number 19
The Roman numeral for the number 19. Because we got together on April 19th, 2018, got engaged on April 19th, 2023, and will now marry on July 19th, 2025.
